About the Artist
The Mission — Kosko Art Studios
Greg Koskovich keeps his artistic philosophy simple:
“Make it big, give it depth, and communicate.”
Sometimes a painting sparks an immediate emotion. Other times it pulls a memory from somewhere deep in the past. For Greg, painting is about more than creating an image. It’s about creating a moment. His work invites people to slow down and really look. Greg values that connection because it means the viewer becomes part of the experience.
He often describes his work as having a “puzzle effect.”
Every person sees something a little different. People stop, look closer, think about what they’re seeing, and gradually piece together their own meaning. The painting isn’t just something to look at, it’s something to explore.
Greg dived into fine art sculpture, graphic design, and communications when he was at Eastern New Mexico University. Then he continued his graduate studies in communications at Arizona State University. His education had a major impact on his working style and his vision about visual storytelling. Actually, to him, art is a medium that can communicate a message to people without even using words.
When asked what he hopes people take away from his work, Greg puts it simply:
“I want people to see that my artwork reflects the everyday reality of life.”
At present, Greg is a commissioned artist who dedicates his time producing original paintings, murals, and sculptures for both home and business environments. What he creates is signed KOSKO, a moniker that not only signifies his artistic persona but also the conceptual side of Kosko Art Studios.
